The exhibition itinerary develops through the different cultures that have influenced the production of Roy Lichtenstein, who has used some elements to deconstruct them, reconstruct them and finally elaborate them in a pop key with his unmistakable figure. Visitors will pass through a review of themes and genres of his art: from the history of the birth of the United States to the epic of the Far West, from the vernacular and the ethnographic artistic expressions of the American Indians to the pop culture that exploded following the expansion of the World economy after World War II, from the European artistic culture of the avant-gardes to the contemplative spirit of oriental landscapes.
